WHAT IS THE WELLNESS BLOG?
The wellness blog is a place where students can share everything from interesting news stories to engagement announcements. All of the content on the wellness blog is student-generated, so we encourage you to participate and share content! Have a great new recipe? Found a great new study aid? Submit to the blog!
HOW DO I SUBMIT TO THE WELLNESS BLOG?
Submitting to the blog is easy! Simply click on “submit” in the main navigation of pittmedwellness.com. You will be directed to a submission form where you can upload content, and enhance your post with pictures, tags and commentary.
CAN I SUBMIT AN EVENT TO THE WELLNESS CALENDAR?
Absolutely! If you want to spread the word about an event, select the “submit to calendar” link from the “submit” drop-down menu and enter information about the event of interest. As a note, you can submit information about any event you feel others might enjoy, so feel free to upload information about everything from local Pittsburgh happenings to events held by student organizations.
WHAT IS THE WELLNESS FORUM?
The PittMed Wellness forum is a student-run forum where PittMed students can interact with members from all classes.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE WELLNESS FORUM?
The forum is private, and can only be accessed by PittMed students by entering the PittMed forum username and password. If you are a PittMed student and have forgotten the PittMed Wellness Forum password, please contact a PittMed Wellness Committee member at PittMedWellness@gmail.com.
As a note, the forum can be accessed through the PittMed Wellness site, or directly via the following URL: forum.pittmedwellness.com. Once you access the forum, create an account to particpate in the conversation!
HOW SHOULD I USE THE WELLNESS FORUM?
The forum is a great way to communicate with your classmates about academics, last minute get-togethers and pick-up games without relying on social media sites like Facebook. Additionally, the majority of the forum is not medical school class-specific. Therefore, it provides students with a means to reach out to members of other classes for advice on everything from study habits to best ways to spend free time in Pittsburgh.
