HMS Scientists on the Link Between Chronic Stress and CVD
A study conducted by HMS scientists suggests stress-induced overproduction of white blood cells may explain the link between stress and CVD.
Interestingly, HMS scientists chose to study medical residents working in the intensive care unit as their work environment is considered a model for chronic stress.
